I was a Tolkien canon purist... but... what the heck. I gave up ages ago trying to convince people that contrary to popular belief, Legolas was a brunette, not a blonde. LOL.

So, the purist got shoved head-first down the privy, kicking and screaming, whilst my Legolas muse gloated and did a victory jig on the toilet seat. Anyways, I went to see FOTR all snob-like, scoffing "Bah... what's the deal with this elf that has got the oestrogen brigade's panties in a twist?"

The phenomenon of the Great Golden God of a Legolas hit me with the force of a drunk troll with a sledgehammer, o' course. It was a close encounter of the third kind: A wham, bam, thank yooou, mister! So... a dangerously obsessive Elf fancier here. Everybody head for cover. Mwahehehheheh....


Right-oh. A bio, ye be asking for? Very well. Be forewarned though. *machiavellian grin* I do tend to be rather verbose. Entirely not my fault, I tell you, 'Tis the melodramatic Indian blood running through my veins. The same weakness. God, I'm so lame... Aye, I do go off tangent every other line too.

*The first thing people usually notice about me: that I'm rather flamboyantly expressive in my mannerisms (alright alright. That's just a euphemism to say that I blabber. And wave my hands around. Not a good combo. People get cross-eyed around me after a while.

*Battling: an infatuation with brackets and hyphenates

*Waxing lyrical: did French and currently attempting to learn Japanese, Korean and Mandarin as well

*Style: guilty of favouring estate jewellery and glamorous garments, with nuances from the past ages

*Anathema: giant moths, beetles, sharks, and natural disasters (one of the few things that you're just helpless to fight against)

*Interests: The 18th century and periods back (except the plumbing), belly-dancing, reading novels (supernatural, historical romance, thrillers, mysteries) and fan-fiction (writing it too), designing gowns, swimming, shopping, watching dramas, Yaoi, and Aragorn/Legolas slash (Ooo baby)

*Scents: The Body Shop's 'Moroccan Rose', 'Velique' and 'Oceanus', DKNY for Women, lavender, freshly laundered linen, the smell of Johnson's Baby Bath (the original light blue bottle) and Baby Lotion on clean skin

*Colours: scarlet, sable and dark green

*Cars: Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, a Maserati Spyder, Aston Martin Vanquish

*Favourite music: my all-time favourite song is 'Now and Forever' by Richard Marx. But in general, I like the Black Eyed Peas, Enya, Micheal Jackson(earlier albums), Jamie Scott & The Town, Oldies, New Age, Latin, and Korean Pop. So basically melodic acoustic guitar pieces, and (when I'm in the mood) songs with a good solid rhythm that I can dance to, like the Pussycat Dolls' 'Buttons'.

*Food: likes Italian, Indian, & Singaporean cuisine; bangers & mash; smoked turkey ham; boysenberry ice cream; yellow-flesh freestone peaches, mango, mangosteen, seedless green grapes, rambutan, especially cherries, and all sorts of berries; sparkling apple and cranberry juice; pizza with lots of parmesan and pepperoni (I like my food nice and gloriously unhealthy, thank you very much. Don't you dare ask me to eat a salad. 'Tis grass, I tell you, GRASS! I refuse to eat cow food.)

*Spends a lot of time thinking about: You wouldn't want to know. Well, ok, maybe you would; but I'm not going to chance you (yes, hypothetical you) heading for the hills, shrieking bloody murder, thank you very much. Might hurt my fragile ego. Heaven forbid if THAT ever happened. The world as we know it might end! *cue gasps of horror*

*On a typical Friday night I am: At home. Either reading a historical romance novel, watching TV or gaming. Aye. I, tragically, have no life whatsoever.

*Aesthetic qualities of a dream guy: a good little (okay, not LITTLE little) Catholic boy with dark eyebrows & lashes, and high cheekbones (gahhh Johnny, Orlando & Viggo... menage à trois? Oooo... no NO! Bad Cheryl! *whack* Ow.); at least half a head taller than me; not overly built.. Schwarzenegger, I do not need. Wiry physique is fine. As long as he's not noodle-y, I'm happy.

I'm not superficial. Really. A girl's gotta think of the children, you know. XD

*sigh* Seriously though, there are very few good guys out there these days (most are either gay, married, engaged, or six feet under) who are not corrupted by the sex-booze-and-drugs culture popularised by the media... and actually GENUINELY interested in a girl's personality and emotions rather than her body... but... if said male specimen does actually exist, and happens to be a monogamist, who does not have a hot temper(since I tend to avoid people who shout), and is gentle, intelligent(and can spell!), laidback, good-natured, and has a wacky sense of humour... you know who to call. *winks*
